How Do I Handle Crop Failure?

How do we live beyond the bad choices we have made in our lives? The pain we have caused others because of our choices. What do we do about the circumstances and the regrets we have from such choices? Is there hope in the midst of all this? I believe there is hope, there is nothing God does not know about us; he knows our down sitting, our upraising even before there is a word on our tongue he knows it. If we are honest we all have had crop failure or lack of success or failure to produce a marketable surplus. What can we do to avoid crop failure or regrets? We must till the soil of our hearts we must remove the rocks, the hard places and allow the word of God to saturate our heart. We are engraved upon his hand our frame is before him always and he knows we are nothing but dust, yet he has set his love on us and that will never change. That is wonderful news that we have a father who loves us despite our shortcomings and he will never leave us or forsake us and has given us the ability to be overcomers!!!

Jesus said in John 14 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God believe also in Me."

We can live a victorious life even in the midst of our regrets. We must bring each bad choice and the circumstance of those choices and lay them at the feet of Jesus. Open your heart to him tell him I messed up "you can not change what you do not own" forgive me Father. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1John 1:9. Don't let your heart be troubled believe what word of God says. Allow God to use those regrets in your life to minister to others about the power of God, His love, forgiveness and his saving grace. The lotus flower grows in the filthy mud on the roadside in India but when it blooms it is one of the loveliest flowers in the world. Just as the lotus flower rises from the mud and blooms into a thing of beauty rise from the regrets in your life, the book of Isaiah says; "He will give us beauty for ashes, joy for our mourning, the mantle of praise instead of fainting so they will be called the oak of righteous, the planting of the lord that he might be glorified. Trust in the Lord, walk by faith, believe and live the extraordinary life. Isaiah 61:3
